We did a lot of research in original Sears and Roebuck catalogs from the 20's to find correct period wallpaper for the restoration of the tenant house. Looks like all that research paid off- the old paper in the bedroom was exposed when we put new outlets in. We had no idea what the original paper was when we chose the new bedroom paper, but wow, we came close! The house must have spoken to us while we were choosing.
