Watercolor Art on The Farm Series – 2nd Class
Enjoy the beautiful art of watercolor painting with Anne Parks, a local award-winning artist. She will help you learn to paint chickens, birds, landscapes (and even the cows and horses) at The Farm. Anne will use a combination of drawing and painting with watercolor and watercolor pencils to give your art an illustrative feel. Some drawing background is preferable; but even if you haven't had a drawing class, you will have a great time painting with Anne! She can teach all levels of skill. Planting Seeds with Kids
Explore our seed library and take seeds to start your garden. Children will have the opportunity to plant and take seed starters while learning how to care for the plants. A coloring activity will also be available for those who would like to participate. Planting will take place in the barn, so please dress appropriately. FREE with park admission. 12:00pm-2:00pm.

Join us in making a traditional cobweb broom. The very talented Bev Larson, will be on hand teaching the art of broom making. We will start with a long stick and add natural broom corn. Cobweb brooms are round and long and used to get the pesky cobwebs from places we cannot reach. A fun introduction to broom making.
