Become a Member or Give Someone the Gift of a Membership

2024 Farm Memberships are now available for purchase!

Become a Farm member or purchase a membership for someone special! The Farm at Prophetstown is looking for individuals and companies who believe in our mission focused on sustainable agriculture, gardening, canning, homesteading, the raising of heritage livestock, as well as farm-to-table cooking, sewing and quilting.  If you love visiting The Farm, purchasing our meat, produce and eggs, and/or attending our events, please consider supporting us by purchasing a membership. We have a full calendar of special events and workshops throughout the year. From tour groups to drop-in visitors and an active social media, and we connect with thousands of wonderful people all year round.

We have partnered with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources to promote a special package. When you purchase a membership for $55.00 to The Farm at Prophetstown, you will also receive a state park pass that is good for free admission to ALL Indiana State Parks through 2024! The Farm makes $12 from each of these memberships to support the organization and our events. Also available for purchase is a farm membership sticker only (no park pass included) for $15.00. Please keep in mind you will be required to pay gate fees to enter the park and visit the farm (including for our dinners) if you don’t have a park pass. Entrance into the park is $8.

Memberships also make unique gifts for everyone to enjoy!

Membership benefits include:

  • Invitation to our annual meeting and end of the year celebration.
  • Newsletters and other email updates regarding farm activities.

None of the programming at The Farm would be possible without the generosity of our members, donors and corporate sponsors.

YOUR donations = memories! Generous donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations fund a large portion of our operations. Your dollars help us give our animals the best care possible, and maintain our beautiful farmstead. We wouldn’t exist without the amazing generosity of donors! The Farm receives $7 from every Farm membership sold, and meat, egg and produce sales help supplement our budget. Most programming and special events at The Farm are offered free of charge so we can be accessible to all who want to visit. Please consider a donation to The Farm! Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference.

THANK YOU to our generous donors and sponsors in 2023!

Thank you to our friends and partners who have supported us in 2023.

Ned Derhammer and his late wife Nola Gentry have given The Farm more than we can list… including an amazing new tractor! Not only have they given us their financial support, but also their time and friendship. We are forever grateful and blessed to have had both of them in The Farm family.

The Gibson Family has been unwavering in their support of The Farm.  After the passing of Dale and Carol Sue Gibson, who were instrumental in the establishment of The Farm and the Gibson Farmhouse, the family has continued to support the Farm in their memory. We are so grateful for the kindness and generosity of the Gibson Family.

Bill Hoover has donated not only financially, but with countless hours to establish our heirloom apple orchard.  Thanks to Bill, we have delicious apples to share with the community and an opportunity to educate visitors about this important aspect of 1920s farms.

Jane Kinyon is another generous supporter and friend of the Farm! Thank you, Jane, for your kind support as well as your guidance in improving our member services. You’ve greatly helped us as we strive to take better care of our farm members and visitors!

Nancy and Dave Sattler give generously of their time and resources to keep the beehives healthy and productive on The Farm. They also donate honey that they harvest from the hives for the Farm to sell and use in the food we prepare for events! Most importantly, they provide education about beekeeping to our community.

Nancy Stone generously provided the funds to purchase perennial flowers to start our new cut flower garden. Thank you, Nancy, for supporting this beautiful new addition to the Farm!

Visit Lafayette-West Lafayette is a local organization that promotes and supports tourism in the Lafayette area, and they are a proud sponsor of The Farm.  In 2023, Visit Lafayette-West Lafayette provided us with a marketing grant to support our efforts to reach our community and beyond. We are grateful for their sponsorship and all they do for the Lafayette-West Lafayette community.

Duke Energy is always giving to help keep our community strong. Duke Energy has given a grant to The Farm to update and add signage across the property. In 2023 the signage project was finalized which has greatly added to the educational aspects of The Farm. Thank you, Duke Energy!

The list could go on and on of individuals who continue to support us in various ways. We are honored to have such amazing people who support us and help us share this special place with all who visit! There’s no place like the Midwest for giving, caring, and generous people. Thanks to you all!
