Cooking with Heirloom Apples- Learn how apples were a staple crop in the 1920s in Indiana, and the many unique flavors heirloom apples can add to foods. Try your hand at making a dessert and applesauce to take home! Several old-fashioned varieties will be available for class participants to work with and taste. Enjoy the beautiful art of watercolor painting with Anne Parks, a local award-winning artist. She will help you learn to paint chickens, birds, landscapes (and even the cows and horses) at The Farm. Anne will use a combination of drawing and painting with watercolor and watercolor pencils to give your art an illustrative feel.
