A simple piece of furniture, the stand-alone kitchen cabinet, promised to reduce the drudgery of never-ending kitchen tasks. Take a close look at the kitchen cabinets in the Gibson and Tenant houses. What were the features of the cabinets, and how did they take the place of the pantry/kitchen table?
